Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We are looking forward to this coming Lord’s Day and the Dedication of our Church Building to the service and glory of our Lord! I will be preaching a message from 1 Corinthians 1:4-9 on the faithfulness of God–His faithfulness to us in the past, present, and the future. Remember that there will be no Sunday School this week. We will have our special Service of Worship at 10:30 AM. Then, immediately after worship there will be a Church-wide Reception and Fellowship. Please pray for the Lord to bless us as we worship in spirit and in truth, and to powerfully anoint the preaching and hearing of His blessed Word.
Jerry Bridges is coming to be with us May 1-3. We are so thrilled that Jerry is returning for the eighth time! As you know, Jerry is the author of such classics as The Pursuit of Holiness, Trusting God, The Discipline of Grace, and The Practice of Godliness. Jerry will be teaching Friday night May 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Saturday May 2 from 9:00-11:00 AM, and Sunday, May 3 in Sunday School (for all adults) and Worship. A Nursery will be provided for all sessions and visitors are most welcome. Please be in prayer for Jerry and Jane as they prepare to come, and help us spread the word.
