Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
What a great joy it will be this weekend to welcome Jerry Bridges to our pulpit! This is Jerry’s eighth time to be with us over the last ten years, and with each visit the Lord has powerfully used him to instruct and encourage us in His service. As you know, Jerry is a gifted Bible teacher and author. His books include The Pursuit of Holiness, Trusting God, Transforming Grace, The Practice of Godliness, and The Discipline of Grace, and many others. Through his teaching and writing Jerry has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel of the grace of God in our Lord Jesus Christ as well as the profound implications associated with being a Christian disciple.
The schedule for our weekend with Jerry is:
Tonight, 7:00-9:00 PM
Saturday, 9:00-11:00 AM
Sunday, 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM
(A nursery will be provided for all sessions)
Please be in prayer for Jerry and Jane as they travel here today, and especially as Jerry teaches God’s Word. We look forward to a great feast of Gospel truth and sweet fellowship with our Lord and His people.
