Call to Worship: Revelation 5:11-14
Prayer of Adoration:
Old Testament Lesson: Psalm 113 – Trinity Hymnal p. 826
Pastor: Praise the Lord.
People: Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
Pastor: Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.
People: From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
Pastor: The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.
People: Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
Pastor: He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
People: he seats them with princes, with the princes of their people.
Pastor: He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.
People: Praise the Lord.
Song: By Thy Mercy
Jesus, Lord of life and glory, Bend from Heav’n Thy gracious ear;
While our waiting souls adore Thee, Friend of helpless sinners, hear:
From the depth of nature’s blindness, From the hardening power of sin,
From all malice and unkindness, From the pride that lurks within:
Chorus: By Thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord.
By Thy mercy, O deliver us, good Lord, good Lord.
When temptation sorely press, in the day of Satan’s power
In our times of deep distresses, in each dark and trying hour
When the world around is smiling, In the time of wealth and ease,
Earthly joys our hearts beguiling, In the day of health and peace,
In the weary hours of sickness, in the times of grief and pain
When we feel our mortal weakness, when all human help is vain
In the solemn hour of dying, In the awful judgment day,
May our souls, on Thee relying, Find Thee still our Rock and Stay:
Song: What Wondrous Love Is This? Hymn 261 v.1-3
New Testament Lesson: Ephesians 4:1-3
Confession of Sin:
Assurance of Pardon: Titus 3:5-7
Song: In Need CCLI# 2431435
In need of grace, in need of love
In need of mercy raining down from high above
In need of strength, in need of peace
In need of things that only You can give to me
In need of Christ, the perfect lamb
My refuge strong, the great I Am
This is my song, my humble plea
I am your child, I am in need

Q. 96. What is the Lord’s Supper?
A. The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament in which, by giving and receiving bread and wine according to Christ’s appointment, his death is proclaimed, and those who receive rightly are by faith (and not by the mouth in a physical manner) made partakers of his body and blood, with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment and growth in grace.
Communion*:
Song: O Worship The King Hymn 2 v.1,4-5
Benediction:
*Professing and baptized members in good standing of a Church in which Jesus Christ is proclaimed as Lord and Savior are warmly invited to join us in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
