Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
Our sermon passage for this coming Lord’s Day is Joshua 6:1-7. In this portion of the chapter, the Lord promises Joshua and the Covenant people that He has given the walled city of Jericho into their hands (v. 2), and that victory over the Canaanite stronghold is a certainty. But the battle plan the Israelites will employ by order of the Lord is a very strange one indeed (vv. 3-5). Once again we will look for the ‘covenantal connections’ that point us to the work of our Savior and the life of discipleship that He has called each of us to in His redeeming grace.
Men’s Spring Bible Study Continues Sunday Evening
Sunday night’s topic will be ‘Christ Our King,’ and we will meet from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Church. Then, next Sunday April 17 we will conclude our study with our Men’s Spring Fellowship Dinner at 5:00 PM.
