Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
In Genesis 39 we find one of the most memorable episodes from the colorful story of Joseph. Within the span of just twenty-three verses his life takes on more twists and turns than ours typically do in a decade or more! At the core of this remarkable chapter is the way his faith in God and the integrity of his own heart are sorely tested by his encounter with the wife of Potiphar. Sunday’s sermon will focus upon this chapter, and once again we will find beautiful images of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also great encouragement from Joseph’s example of trust in God’s goodness and power.
Time Change This Week
This coming Saturday night is the night we loose one hour of life and sleep. Be sure to set your clocks forward one hour before bed.
Two Coffee and Fellowship Locations
In order to better accommodate our people and foster good fellowship, we will have two areas where you may gather between Sunday School and Worship. Snack and coffee tables will be set up in the Narthex and in the Children’s Education wing beginning this week.
