Confession of Faith: The Westminster Confession of Faith
Chapter 19 – Of the Law of God

This law, after Adam fell, continued to be a perfect rule of righteousness and, as such, was given by God upon Mount Sinai in Ten Commandments written on two stone tablets. The first four commandments contain our duty to God, the other six our duty to man.
Prayer of Adoration:

Old Testament Lesson: Ezekiel 17:22-24

Corporate Confession of Sin:

Holy and merciful God, in Your presence we confess our sinfulness, our shortcomings, and our offenses against You. You alone know how often we have sinned in wandering from Your ways, in wasting Your gifts, in forgetting Your love. Have mercy on us, O Lord, for we are ashamed and sorry for all we have done to displease You. Forgive our sins, and help us to live in Your light and walk in Your ways, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Assurance of Pardon:

Song: I Sign the Almighty Power of God Hymn 119 v.1-3

Song: We Shall Feast in the House of Zion CCLI #7041364

CHORUS:
We will feast in the house of Zion, we will sing with our hearts restored
“He has done great things” we will say together
we will feast and weep no more

We will not be burned by the fire; He is the Lord our God
We are not consumed by the flood; upheld, protected, gathered up

In the dark of night before the dawn, my soul be not afraid
For the promised morning, oh how long! O God of Jacob, be my strength

Every vow we’ve broken and betrayed, You are the faithful One
And from the garden to the grave, bind us together, bring shalom

New Testament Lesson: Mark 4:26-34

Song of Response: Sovereign CCLI #6453309

Sovereign in the mountain air, Sovereign on the ocean floor
With me in the calm, With me in the storm
Sovereign in my greatest joy, Sovereign in my deepest cry
With me in the dark, With me at the dawn

CHORUS:
In Your everlasting arms, all the pieces of my life
From beginning to the end, I can trust You
In Your never failing love, You work everything for good
God whatever comes my way, I will trust You
