Sermon Preview:
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Beginning today through June 19, Carol and I will be away on vacation. We are so grateful that you have provided this opportunity for us, and we look forward to enjoying a time of rest and refreshment.
In my absence, it will be our privilege to have Rev. Jim Daughtry and Rev. Dieter Paulson preaching for us over the next two Sundays.
This coming Lord’s Day, Jim will be preaching from Jeremiah 9:23-24. His message is entitled “ The Self-Revelation of God.”
Then on June 13, Dieter will be preaching a sermon entitled “ Grace in Lament” from Psalm 77. As you will remember, since 2017 Dieter has served as the planter and pastor of Redeemer Church (PCA) in Scottsboro. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Marty, a native of Foley, Alabama, for 22 years. They have four children, Gracie (21), Tanner (20), Mary (15), and Georgia (13).
Please pray for these two faithful brothers and servants of the Lord as they deliver God’s Word to us.
The Lord willing, I will return to the pulpit on June 20, and on that Sunday we will begin our Twelve-Week Summer Preaching Series on Roman 12. Our first message in this series will come from Romans 12:1.
May our Lord keep you in His tender care, and I love you all so dearly and pray for you constantly!

Announcements:
Summer Worship Time Change:
Continuing throughout the summer, Sunday worship will begin at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary. Starting June 20th (Father’s Day) at 9 a.m. we will resume our coffee, snack and fellowship time just off the Narthex. We will also begin serving special snacks to the children in the fellowship room at the same time. Parents, please encourage your children to enjoy their snacks where they are served.
Sharon O’Neil Memorial Service:
We will have Sharon O’Neil’s memorial service at the Church on Saturday June 26, at 10:00 AM.
Youth Group:
Youth Group will resume in the Fall.

Summer Bible Club:
Summer Bible Club is this upcoming Thursday and Friday, June 10-11. We’re excited about all that the children are going to learn, and thankful for all the help we’re receiving from you volunteers! Please join us in praying for this compelling event.
A note from Amanda, our Nursery Coordinator:
First, a huge thank you to those you have volunteered in our nursery during Sunday worship over the past couple of months. It has been a great blessing to our children, nursery staff, and families.
I have created a new sign up extending through the summer months so please click on the link below if you would like to help in the nursery in the coming weeks. Don’t forget our new worship schedule this summer! Since service will begin at 9:30 as of May 30th, we ask that you arrive in the nursery at 9:15 to help welcome our children in. Women’s Ministry:
Monthly Lunch: Our next monthly luncheon will be on July 1 beginning at 11:30 at the Timbers Edge Clubhouse located at 1 Timbers Main, Brownsboro. It’s potluck – feel free to bring a dish or just yourself.
Wednesday Summer Fellowships: Make plans to join other ladies in the church for fellowship throughout the summer. Our goal is to connect across generational lines and encourage one another. All ages welcome! Groups will meet on Wednesdays at 10:00 am at Sharon Daughtry’s (5726 Jones Valley Drive, Huntsville 35802) as well as at 6 pm at Panera Bread on Airport Road. Career/Singles:
The weekly bible study and fellowship for career/singles meets at 5:30 PM Sunday evenings at the home of Jim and Sharon Daughtry.
Senior Fellows:
