This coming Lord’s Day our study of the life and times of Joseph will come to a conclusion as we consider how his story ends on the triumphant note of reconciliation. We will be looking at two texts from the Book of Genesis: 45:1-11 and 50:15-21. As we examine these passages of Holy Scripture we will be amazed at the way the Lord puts this broken family back together again. We will see the reconciling love of God flowing freely from the heart of Joseph to his brothers–the very ones who had hated him, plotted his death, and eventually sent him packing way off to Egypt! We will also discover how the healing of this profoundly broken family was brought about, and how, in the end, we are pointed toward the reconciling love of God in Christ Jesus.
