Not Conformed, but Transformed
On Sunday, we will begin looking at Romans 12, verse 2. As you remember, there are two words that are set in opposition here in this verse: “ conformed” and “ transformed.” One is bad, and the other is good. One is forbidden and the other is commanded. And between the two there is no mid-point, no third way, no compromise position. It’s like an old-fashioned light switch, either on or off. They are mutually exclusive in every way.
As you would guess, the Apostle Paul exhorts us to shun conformity and embrace transformation. But what is he talking about? What should be rejected? What should be welcomed?
I can’t wait to dig into our Father’s Holy Word with you this Lord’s Day!
