As we prepare for this coming Lord’s Day Worship, let me encourage you to read and meditate upon Luke 7:1-10. In this passage, we find another episode from the life of Jesus that will help us to understand more about Him and all that He accomplished in His earthly ministry.
As you will discover, this is another one of the many miracle accounts of physical healing that we find in the Gospels. What’s especially remarkable about this particular episode is how it happened, and the identities of the people involved in it.
Like all of the stories of Jesus in the New Testament, this one is also most instructive and encouraging for those who belong to Him. And, as was often the case following such displays of grace and power, this one should leave us in awe of the One who has also healed us of our spiritual diseases and raised us to new life!
