At 6:00 PM tonight, we will gather together for our annual Good Friday Service of Worship. We will reflect upon the events that took place on this day two-thousand years ago in the city of Jerusalem where our Lord and Savior freely gave His life upon the cross for our sins.  Following our tradition, we will read Scripture, pray, sing, and hear the proclamation of God’s Word regarding the necessity and purpose for the death of the sinless Son of God.

Tonight’s brief message is entitled, ‘The Language of the Cross: A Meditation On the Words of Jesus.’  We will consider several Scripture passages from Matthew’s Gospel in which we find the very words of Jesus that tell us the true meaning of His death
